Hydrodynamics is a branch of science that deals with liquid motion or is more specialized in water motion, while ship hydrodynamics is the study of the phenomenon of ship motion in water, the kupatory method to test ship motion in water can use CFD (Computer Fluid Dynamic). to support student learning activities the Department of Naval Architecture has a ship Hydrodynamic learning Laboratory supporting hydrodynamine lectures and implementation of tests conducted with CFD.
