To support the lectures on ship construction and structure the Departement of Naval Architecture has a laboratory structure and ship construction that is equipped with a model of the structure and tensile test equipment for testing materials in research activities and student final assignments, in the construction and structure lab students can conduct strength and structure tests ships using FEM (finite element method) using available computers.
