Job Training or Field Work must be taken by students as a prerequisite for graduation, practical work has a load of 2 semester credit units, can be carried out by students who have fulfilled the course requirements and SKS, practical work activities must be undertaken by students in two companies each taken at least during 1 month at one company.
Competence of learning outcomes in practical work activities in the first company is related to the work of ship production and repair, while the second company is related to the work of ship feasibility survey and classification. thus it is expected that from this work practice students have these two competencies which are the provisions of students in the world of work
After carrying out practical work students make practical work reports and daily reports during their activities at the company. Field work practice exams are tested by Supervising Lecturers who have been appointed by the coordinator.
